Filaret Denisenko officially demanded that the head of the Patriarchate of Constantinople must return the original decisions of the “Local Council” of the UOC-KP, which took place on December 15, 2018 in Warm Sofia.

Filaret’s lawyer Neonila Tkachenko posted a photo of the document on her Facebook page.

“Your Holiness! After the withdrawal of my signature on January 10, 2020 under the Decree of the so-called Local Council of December 15, 2018, I ask you to return its original, which is stored in your archive. With love in Christ, Patriarch of Kyiv and all Rus-Ukraine,” the request says.

“Thus, the Patriarch has made public the fact of storage and usage of the original document outside the territory of Ukraine. Thus, he proved the existence of foreign influence on the liquidation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate,” Tkachenko noted.
