The Olenivka Community public organization, which includes some relatives of Ukrainian prisoners of war, has urged Volodymyr Zelenskyy to consider the possibility of exchanging the vicar of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan Pavlo, for AFU servicemen held captive by the Russian side. The corresponding statement the organization posted on its page in Instagram.

“The third year of captivity for the defenders of Mariupol. Once the representatives of the state authorities were able to exchange Ukrainian servicemen for the state traitor – Viktor Medvedchuk. We demand to do it again, but now exchange Vyacheslav Boguslaev, Pavel Lebed, Nestor Shufrych and other enemy agents for our heroes, who must be immediately returned from Russian captivity”, – wrote in the commentary representatives of the organization, accompanying it with a video message.

Recall that on January 23, 2024, the vicar of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Metropolitan Paul (Lebed) mitigated the conditions of round-the-clock house arrest. Now the bishop will be able to leave home in order to visit medical institutions. The corresponding decision was made by the Pecherskyi district court of Kiev.
