Yuliya Horodchanina, a deputy of the Poltava city council from “European Solidarity”, said that the decisions to ban the UOC adopted by city and regional councils have no legitimacy. She said this in the movie “Church without Christ”, which was filmed by MP from “EU” Mykola Knyazhytskyy.
Gorodchanka noted that the ban of the UOC in the regions is not a legitimate decision, but just a statement of some position.
The MP also said that the Poltava City Council was able to vote in favor of an appeal to the Rada and the President, which asked to ban the UOC, only on the third attempt “under pressure from people”, and the Poltava Regional Council and at all with the fourth.
“I do not want to imitate, pretend and tell people that look, we are good, we banned the Church. In fact, nothing has happened, everyone continues to work”, – said Horodchanina.
