Metropolitan Pavel’s house arrest was extended

The decision of the Solomenskiy District Court of Kyiv extended the house arrest of Metropolitan Pavel (Lebed) for another two months, according to Politika Strany.

The bishop is prohibited from leaving his residence in the village of Voronkov in Kyiv region until August 31, 2023. The court also left the obligation to wear an electronic bracelet.

During the trial, Metropolitan Pavel said that representatives of the SSU and the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Reserve offered him to cooperate with the investigation: “I was told that if I do not speak out against Epifaniy and support the transition of monks of the Lavra to the OCU, all cases against me will be closed”.
