In his interview with “Competitor TV”, Mikhail Zinkevich thanked the Volyn deputies for the decisions to ban the UOC in the Volyn region, but at the same time called them “declarative”. On this occasion, the “bishop” drew up a whole plan of action for the deputies.

He recommended that the local authorities take away from the UOC all the churches that are in state or communal ownership, then the land under the churches, and finally “prohibit their physical existence as a legal structure.” At the same time, the “metropolitan” assures that such measures will not mean persecution for the faith.
