The Khmelnytsky Regional State Administration re-registered the parish of the UOC of the village of Zinkov in the OCU, the press service of the Khmelnytsky diocese of the UOC reports.

This was done against the desire of the community of the Holy Ascension Church to remain in the UOC.

“The actions of the Khmelnytsky Regional State Administration regarding the registration of the charter of the parish in a new edition and making changes to the register of legal entities, contrary to the will of the rector and members of the religious community, do not correspond to the internal situation in the community of the Holy Ascension Church with. Zinkov,” the press service writes.

The report notes that the Regional State Administration registered a new edition of the charter of the community on the basis of an illegitimate “decision” of the meeting of the villagers in the local house of culture. The event was attended by 86 people, “whose membership in the religious community was not checked by anyone.” At the same time, 194 people voted for the decision to confirm the spiritual and canonical unity with the independent and independent Ukrainian Orthodox Church with the leading center in Kiev under the leadership of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine.
