People’s Deputy Igor Huz initiated the termination of lease agreements with the religious communities of the UOC in Volyn. This is reported by the publication “BUG”.

We are talking about the Holy Assumption Cathedral in Vladimir, Zimnensky and Nizkinitsky monasteries.

The parliamentarian sent a corresponding deputy appeal to the Minister of Culture of Ukraine and the chairman of the Volyn Regional State Administration. He announced this on May 10 during the “worship” in the Vladimir Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ, which was led by Epifaniy.

“It is necessary that these religious complexes become the property of the state and then a special commission, with the help of the Almighty, decides their fate,” said Igor Guz.
