Member of the World Council of Churches H. Storm announced that the Secretary General of the WCC plans to visit Ukraine and Russia in order to establish negotiations between the OCU, the UOC and the ROC, writes Pravblog.

“On the first day we want to communicate with the Ukrainian churches, on the second day with the Russian church, and on the third day we want to bring both into conversation with each other,” Shtorm said.

A joint meeting between Ukrainian religious organizations and the Russian Orthodox Church is planned on neutral territory – in Geneva.

The aim of the “conversation” the representative of the WCC designated the achievement of “a common position that can open the door to peace.”
