On May 7, 2023, a parish meeting was held near the St. Nicholas Church in Putivl, Konotop district, Sumy region, at which parishioners voted, the Information and Education Department of the UOC reports, citing the press service of the Konotop diocese.

After reading the akathist to St. Nicholas, more than 300 members of the religious community unanimously voted that, together with the temple, they remain part of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the omophorion of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine.

It is noted that this action was recorded in the minutes of the meeting and after proper execution, one copy will be transferred to the city administration.
