A petition has been created in Zaporozhye to ban the activities of the UOC

Deputies of the Zaporozhye City Council will consider an electronic petition demanding to terminate all agreements between the city government and its subordinate structures with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The petition received the required number of votes for consideration – about 756 signed. It is reported by the Pershyi Kozatskyi.

The author of the petition, Olga Kotuznyak, demands the termination of all types of agreements between the local authorities and communal organizations of Zaporozhye and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church: “The UOC-MP are Moscow agents in cassocks who promote the ideas of the so-called “Russian world” and harm our state and its interests.”

The deputies will consider the petition at a meeting of the profile commission, and then a vote will be held at the session of the City Council.
