On April 4, 2023, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in his traditional evening address, assured that he was keeping the situation “regarding spiritual independence” under control.

“We keep the internal situation under control. In particular, regarding spiritual independence. We also guarantee it,” he said.

Zelensky also added that “no one will be able to break Ukraine – neither from the outside nor from the inside.”
