Radicals also came to the Lavra with threats. Metropolitan Kliment said that the lawyers of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra wrote a statement to the police on the fact of the threats of the radicals.

“The commission and the crowd of journalists were not allowed into the church: they say that this is an attempt at an illegal invasion, because there was no court decision, as one of the “journalists” shouted. And the monks are not subordinate to the Ministry of Culture, in order to silently follow its instructions, ”the Telegram channel writes.

Believers in four places sing akathists to the Lord, the Mother of God and the Monks of the Caves. Other believers worship the shrines of the monastery.
