The Viceroy of the Pochaev Lavra, Metropolitan Vladimir, published an Appeal to the Believers and called on the brethren of the Lavra to join in prayer.

“The Lord let us go through the next difficult trials. Today our saving Orthodox faith is really being tested.

We hope with God’s help, the prayerful intercession of the Mother of God, Archangel Michael, martyr. George the Victorious, the Monks Job and Amphilochius and all the saints, that the Lord will help us courageously survive everything. Conciliar prayer has a special life-giving power of God.

Who is not indifferent to the fate of our Ukrainian Orthodox Shrine – the Pochaev Lavra: we ask you, brothers and sisters, to join the prayer of the brothers of the Lavra.

The Lord is with us! The Lord is in power and in truth!” the appeal reads.
