The American Conservative magazine wrote about the situation created by the Ukrainian authorities around the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

American journalists note that the Lavra, which was handed over to the UOC in 1989 in an emergency condition, today is a whole complex of renovated churches and premises, and they want to take all this away from the Church.

The report notes that the Zelensky government is sponsored by America, which means that US citizens have the right to decide what their taxes are spent on.
