The head of the Synodal Information and Education Department of the UOC, Metropolitan Kliment (Vecherya), said that the main issue that the Synod will consider is related to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. This is reported by the UOJ Telegram channel.

“The main issue that the Synod will consider will be related to the situation around the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. It is associated not only with a legal and canonical analysis of what is happening, but also with a huge resonance among the believing citizens of Ukraine, who perceive the statements of the authorities as a flagrant violation of their fundamental rights, and an insult to the feelings of believers carried out by the state,” the message says.
