Chairman of the Ternopil Regional State Administration Mikhail Golovko announced the start of the work of a special group that will study the legality of the use of the Pochaev Lavra by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This was reported in the press service of the regional council.
“If historical justice is gradually being restored in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, many questions arise around the Pochaev Lavra,” the governor said. “I would like to inform you that on Friday, January 27, I ordered the creation of a working group to study the issue of the legality of using the complex of structures of the Pochaev Holy Dormition Lavra.”
