Viktor Yelensky, the head of the State Service of Ukraine on Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience, said that during the lease of the temples of the Upper Lavra by the UOC, “there were violations.” This is reported by the site “Channel 5”.
“The user committed violations during the operation of the temples of the Upper Lavra and the Lower Lavra. And all this, of course, needs to be checked,” the official said.
Elensky also said that in the Assumption and Refectory churches “a lot of all sorts of technical issues have accumulated.”
“But I think it would be fair if the OCU could serve here permanently,” said the head of the SSEFC.
