The head of the OCU, Epifaniy Dumenko, in an interview with Suspilne, said whether there is a dialogue between the UOC and the OCU.
“We have no contacts with Metropolitan Onufriy. We have repeatedly addressed them, especially in the last four years, and in May 2022, before their meeting in Feofaniya. We called for dialogue. But they received ultimatums in response: they do not recognize us as a priesthood, we are not an autocephalous church, and so on,” he said.
“They must realize that this is not the time to issue these ultimatums. We are open, we are truly ready with love for the unity of all Orthodox Ukrainians in a single recognized autocephalous Orthodox Church. But they are not ready for this, as we see,” said Epifaniy.
