On December 19, 2022, the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk handed over the Vladimir Church of the UOC, located in the parliament building, to the use of the OCU. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada wrote about this on his Facebook page.
On the same day, Epifaniy Dumenko also performed the first “prayer service” in the church.
“There should be a Ukrainian church in the Ukrainian Parliament. From now on, this Temple is open to all Ukrainian churches, with their service proving loyalty and devotion to the Ukrainian People and praying for Ukraine and our Victory,” Stefanchuk said.
