With the blessing of the Primate of the UOC, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry, Metropolitan Filaret met with Patriarch Theophilus III of Jerusalem. The hierarch of the UOC reported this on Telegram.

The bishop discussed with Patriarch Theophilus questions on church-state, inter-church and inter-confessional relations in Ukraine.

The Patriarch also devoted a lot of time to the war in Ukraine and the suffering of the Ukrainian people, and assured the Jerusalem Patriarchate of prayers for the long-suffering people and a speedy end to the war.

The Jerusalem Patriarch conveyed the blessing from the Holy Sepulcher to the sacred Ukrainian land and Ukrainian people.
