On December 2, 2022, the SBU conducted a search in the Holy Dormition Church of the Rivne diocese of the UOC. This was announced by the rector of the temple, Archpriest Vasily Nachev on his Facebook page.

Father Vasily said that while he was on a business trip abroad, he was bringing cars that the parishioners had purchased for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the security forces came to his church.

“And great news from home. Today, at about seven in the morning, searches began in the temple. The headman opened the temple, he was “asked” to leave, the security forces entered on their own, and after a while, when they let them in, they showed two packs of leaflets. Have you guessed what the content is, and what will happen next? And it will be the same as everywhere else. This is how we live,” the priest wrote.
