Three New Bishops Elected for the Italian Metropolis of the Patriarchate of Constantinople

The Synod of the Patriarchate of Constantinople met on November 27 and 28, 2022 under the chairmanship of Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople. The synod has elected three new assistant bishops (vicars) for the Italian Metropolis of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, reports orthodoxtimes.com.

In particular, Archimandrite George Antonopoulos was elected Bishop of Krateas, Archimandrite Dionysios Papavasiliou, Bishop of Kotia, and Archimandrite Athenagoras Fasiolos, Bishop of Thermae.
