Eight ambulances were handed over to the hospitals of Kherson and the Kherson region with the blessing of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kyiv and All Ukraine on November 17, 2022. It is reported by Fundnovynskyi,org.

The cars were consecrated and accompanied by the head of the UOC, Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary. The humanitarian mission was carried out jointly with the Charitable Foundation of Archdeacon Vadim Novinsky “Pokrov”.

“We are experiencing both joys and sorrows and troubles that exist in Ukraine today. And every day we pray that the Lord will strengthen every Ukrainian. All of us, as patriots of our Motherland, work each in our own place so that peace reigns in our state as soon as possible. And this little help that will be given to Kherson today, I think, is evidence of the inner pain of each of us – every priest, every layman of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church,” Metropolitan Anthony said before the trip.
