In the village of Moryntsy, Cherkasy region, Vladimir Malomuzh, deputy of the city council of Zvenigorodka, welded the door of the UOC church. This is reported by the publication Procherk.
According to Malomuzh, the premises of the temple allegedly belong to the Zvenigorod City Council.
The priest of the UOC, according to the MP, is there “illegally”.
“He has neither ownership nor a lease agreement. By the decision of the city council, he had to vacate the premises by May 5, but he ignored this requirement and continued to serve. Recently I came on vacation from the Kherson region. I looked at it all, took the “electric welding” and welded the door there, ”said Malomuzh.
He also admitted that a priest is being protected in the village.
In addition, according to the documents, the parish belongs to the UOC.
