UOC sues OCU priest for video from Lavra

The UOC filed a complaint with the police and a lawsuit against OCU cleric Mikhail Omelyan, who posted a video from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra on the social network.  This was written by lawyer Victoria Kokhanovskaya.

“A complaint was filed against the OCU Omelyan Mikhail, the police of Ukraine, the Shevchenkovsky District Court, complaints were also filed, applications were sent to the SBU, because we demand that the OCU members be held accountable for breaking the state,” she writes.

According to the lawyer, the National Police of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine “immediately responded to open criminal proceedings in accordance with Article 214 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine.”
