On November 4, 2022, the head of the Phanar, Patriarch Bartholomew and Pope Francis, performed a joint ecumenical prayer in Bahrain, the website fosfanariou.gr reports.

As part of the interfaith meeting, which took place at the Catholic Cathedral of the Most Holy Theotokos of Arabia in Avali, Bahrain, Patriarch Bartholomew prayed together with Pope Francis, as well as other representatives of the Orthodox and Catholic Churches, for peace.

Recall that an inter-Christian and inter-religious forum was held in Bahrain, dedicated to the topic of coexistence between East and West.
