The Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral was damaged as a result of the shelling of the city of Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk region on October 15, 2022, Pravlife writes.

“Believers call the cathedral the spiritual heart of Nikopol. Since the beginning of the war, it has been shelled for the second time – in September, a wave of rocket strikes in the temple knocked out all the windows. Now the shelling has destroyed the prosphora,” the report said.

Earlier, on August 18, 2022, due to hostilities in the city, the temple in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God “The Sign” was damaged.
