OCU asks Phanar and Metropolitan Savva for permission to open parishes in Poland

On October 18, 2022, the “synod” of the OCU was held under the chairmanship of “Metropolitan” Epiphany, reports pomisna.info.

At it, in particular, it was decided to turn to the head of the Phanar and to the Metropolitan Savva of Warsaw with a request to allow the creation of parishes of the OCU in Poland.

The statement of the “synod” notes that parishes abroad of the OCU are necessary “in order to organize a ministry for the faithful who, as a result of the war, were forced to temporarily find themselves outside Ukraine.”
