Metropolitan of Montenegro led the liturgy at the Sretensky Monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church

Metropolitan Ioanniky of Montenegro and the Seaside visited Moscow, the capital of Russia, where he celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Sretensky Monastery.  This is reported on the official website of the Sretensky Monastery.

“The bishop’s arrival in Moscow at such a difficult time for our country is important for preserving the common prayer of the Orthodox world,” the monastery’s press service said in a statement.

Hieromonk Ignaty (Shestakov), a resident of the Sretensky Monastery, noted that this was the first liturgy that His Eminence celebrated in Russia as a metropolitan.
