In the village of Temyrivka, Zaporizhzhya region, as a result of shelling, the church of the Holy Martyr Alexander of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is being destroyed, DFU reports.
“The church has repeatedly come under attack from Russian occupiers.
The construction of the temple began in 2002 – then the foundation and basement for the future building were laid. In March 2003, the construction of the walls of the temple and the bell tower began.
The Church of the Holy Martyr Alexander was built with donations from the charitable farmer Alexander Chub – In memory of his son Alexander, who died in an accident”, the website informs.
