Patriarch Porfirije awarded the President of Hungary

On September 5, 2022, the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Porfirije, presented Hungarian President Viktor Orban with the highest award of the Serbian Orthodox Church – the Order of St. Sava.

The President of Hungary was awarded this honor in gratitude for the promotion of traditional Christian values, support for the Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as for his personal contribution to strengthening friendship between Serbia and Hungary.

The President of Hungary thanked Patriarch Porfirije for the high honor and noted that he would continue to support Christian values ​​and strengthen fraternal ties between the two states.
