By decision of the Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Archbishop of the Orthodox Ohrid Archdiocese John (Vranishkovsky) was awarded the Order of Venerable Prohor of Pčinja. The award was made by Bishop of Vranje Pahomije on August 23, 2022, in the cathedral church of the Serbian city of Vranje, after the festive Divine Liturgy on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the episcopal consecration of Bishop Pahomije.
Lord Pahomije thanked Archbishop John and stressed the importance of his sacrifice for the sake of the unity of the Church, as well as his merits in overcoming the schism in North Macedonia.
