The press service of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia announced the postponement of his visit to the Nizhny Novgorod Metropolis, where he intended to visit the city of Lukoyanov, the homeland of his paternal ancestors, Interfax writes.
Due to working circumstances that require the presence of the patriarch in Moscow, the visit to the Nizhny Novgorod Metropolis, which was scheduled for the coming days, is postponed to a later time, Vladimir Legoyda, acting head of the patriarchal press service, told reporters.
The exact dates of the visit will be announced later.
