During the fourth plenary session of the 20th Council of the clergy and laity of the Orthodox Church in America, held in Baltimore, a resolution was unanimously adopted regarding the catastrophic impact of the war on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This was reported on the OCA website on July 21, 2022.

In particular, the proposed and adopted resolution was brought to the floor condemning the aggression against Ukraine, thus affirming the statement previously released by the Holy Synod. The resolution called to mind the catastrophic effect of the war on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church helmed by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, and commended the Holy Synod for their continual support of this sister Church.

Earlier it was reported that the aid contribution of the Orthodox Church in America for Ukrainians in Poland exceeded $720,000.
