On July 24, supporters of the OCU, together with the head of the Khmelnytsky District Council, Alexander Cherniyevich, started a fight over the church of St. Paraskeva Pyatnitsa in the village of Pirogovtsy, Khmelnytsky District, and beat a woman. Pershiy Kozatsky writes about this with reference to the assistant to the deputy of the Kamenetz-Podolsky City Council, lawyer Victoria Kokhanovskaya.
Officials and activists of the OCU first threatened the believers of the UOC, and then started a fight, trying to break into the temple. They tore off the door handle and beat several parishioners of the temple, and one of the parishioners, Joanna Kravets, went to the emergency room.
According to Kokhanovskaya, the police officers present at the scene were inactive, and then they sealed the temple.
