Criminal cases opened against officials organizing seizures of UOC temples

Against the head of the Boyar City Council Alexander Zarubin, who threatened to transfer all the temples of the UOC in Boyarka to the OCU, law enforcement agencies opened a criminal case under the article “Abuse of power or official position.” This was written on Facebook by an assistant to the deputy of the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council, lawyer Victoria Kokhanovskaya.

In addition, in relation to Valentina Bazilyuk, the headman of the Oleshinsky district and a member of the VO “Svoboda”, an appeal was sent to the prosecutor’s office for prosecution for failure to provide information upon request. Bazilyuk took part in the capture of the UOC temple in the village of Cherepovka, Khmelnitsky region.

Also, materials are being prepared for the trial against the head of the Khmelnytsky OVA Serhiy Gamalia, who participated in the seizure of the temples of the UOC and signed orders prohibiting the activities of the UOC in the Khmelnytsky region.
