July 20, 2022 marks 9 years since the consecration of the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the “Kyiv Patriarchate” in Luhansk. Currently, the community continues its activities, the building has not been destroyed, according to the page “Holy Trinity Cathedral of the UOC-KP in Luhansk” on Facebook.

“On July 20, 2013, our cathedral was consecrated. Already 9 years have passed. There were other hopes, no one imagined that would happen, what did happen.

The cathedral was consecrated by His Holiness Patriarch Filaret together with the bishops, which is noticeable, in particular, by the leaders of the Luhansk diocese in different years: Bishop Vsevolod, Archbishop Methodiy, Bishops Athanasiy and Lawrence,” the message on the page of the cathedral informs.
