In Zazimye near Kyiv, OCU activists and a former priest are trying to take away the temple

July 17 in the village of Zazimye, Kyiv region, it was restless. Local supporters of the OCU, who have long aimed to take away the ancient church of the Resurrection of Christ, held a meeting of the territorial community, Pershiy Kozatsky writes.

One of the organizers of the illegal meeting was the priest of the temple, Father Anatoly Slinko, who recently left the UOC and moved to the OCU.

About 700 people gathered at the fence of the temple. The defense and police were present at the scene.

People who are not the community of the temple decided to transfer the shrine into the hands of supporters of the OCU. They also “appointed” Father Anatoly as the new rector.

Instead of Father Alexander, who served in the church for over 30 years.

The real community of the temple gathered on July 10, the believers unanimously testified to the loyalty of the UOC.
