The deputies of the Novovolynsk city council appealed to the head of the Volyn OVA, Yuriy Pogulyaiko, demanding “immediately abolish, in accordance with the procedure established by law, the Statutes and state registration of religious communities of the UOC in the territory of the Volyn region,” writes the Information Navigator.

The authorities also demanded that the believers of the UOC on the territory of Novovolynsk “unite with the Orthodox Church of Ukraine on the Independence Day of Ukraine, August 24, 2022.”
