In Lviv, the main repair work on the facade of the Garrison Church of Peter and Paul was completed. This was announced on July 12, 2022 by the mayor of the city Andrey Sadovy, TSN reports.

“It is significant that the main repair work of the facade was completed for the temple holiday of the Garrison Church of Peter and Paul. The restoration has lasted for 2 years. The result is amazing. Thanks to all the international partners who joined these changes,” he informed.

Sadovyi noted that the Garrison Church has become one of the cult churches for all Lviv residents.

“Here we pray for our military, meet with them and see them off on their last way,” he summed up.

Earlier it was reported that the regional authorities re-registered one of the city churches of the UOC in Lviv in favor of the OCU.
