The first divine service of the parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church took place in Brussels

On July 10, 2022, the first service of the religious community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church took place in Brussels. With the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, the Divine Liturgy for Ukrainians in Belgium was performed by Archpriest Dimitry Popescu, who was appointed to patronize this parish. This was reported by the Information and Educational Department of the UOC.

The religious community was created by our compatriots who were forced to leave Ukraine as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

It is noted that regular Liturgies are performed:

Every Saturday, starting at 9:00 at Rue Baron Guillaume van Hamme 33, 1180 Uccle.
Weekly, starting at 8:00 am at Avenue Norbert Gilles 67, 1070 Anderlecht.
