Canada imposed sanctions against the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church

Canada imposed sanctions against Patriarch Kirill.

As reported, similar measures had been taken in Britain. The European Union had removed him from the sanctions list, reports Klymenko Time.

Earlier, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis had said that Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia was excluded from the EU sanctions list just before the release of the document on the sixth package of sanctions against Russia by decision of the leadership. This was reported to journalists in the Seimas.
