The Russian Orthodox Church received the first certificate of registration in Africa

The Patriarchal Exarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church in Africa received the first certificate of state registration – in the Central African Republic.

This was announced in Telegram by the Patriarchal Exarch of the Russian Orthodox Church in Africa, Metropolitan of Klin Leonid (Gorbachev).

“From now on, the CAR officially has:

“The Russian Orthodox Church in the Central African Republic (Moscow Patriarchate, Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa),” the metropolitan wrote.

As previously reported, on July 2, 2022, the first divine services of the Russian Orthodox Church were held in the city of Bangui (Central African Republic).
