On June 23, 2022, Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeev) of Budapest and Hungary visited the ruling bishop of the diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Hungary, Bishop Lukian of Budim, at his residence in Szentendre near Budapest.
