Stones were thrown at the windows in the house of the rector of the UOC in Novozhivotiv

On June 14, 2022, unknown attackers came to the house of Archpriest Peter Monastyrsky, rector of the Church of the Intercession in the village of Novozhivotiv, Vinnytsia region, and smashed the windows with stones. It is reported by the Watch on the First Cossack.

“In the house where my Dad serves, the windows were broken,” said the daughter of a UOC priest. “I won’t speak to anyone specifically who broke the windows, but we all perfectly understand who.”

Archpriest Peter Monastyrsky performs services in the house after the vandals destroyed the prayer room of the UOC. His daughter says, now there is not a single intact window left, stones and bricks are lying inside. The priest called the police.

Local residents are sure that the attack was carried out by OCU activists, the Telegram channel reports.

Earlier it was reported that OCU raiders seized the Church of the Intercession of the UOC in Novozhivotiv, and the parishioners began to gather in an adapted room. On February 24, 2022, the OCU looters defeated him and beat Father Peter.
