On the day of the Holy Spirit, Metropolitan Jonafan of Tulchin and Bratslav celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Church in the village of Yalanets, Bershad deanery. This was reported by the website of the Tulchin diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The ruling bishop was warmly welcomed by the rector of the temple, Priest Nikolai Zinkevich, and the parishioners.

After reading the Gospel, the hierarch, in an interactive sermon, revealed the Orthodox teaching about God the Holy Spirit and the Holy Church of Christ.

The raising of the names of the Primates of the Russian Orthodox Church and the UOC was performed in accordance with the canonical Document of His Holiness Patriarch Alexiy II.

At the end of the service, the archpastor visited the local memorial dedicated to the fallen countrymen, fighters against Nazi fascism, and prayed for the repose of their souls in the eternal abode of the Heavenly Father.
