The police department No. 3 of the Lutsk Republican Police Department of the GUNP for the Volyn region opened a criminal case regarding the illegal re-registration of the Annozachatievsky Church of the UOC in the village of Rzhyshchiv, Lutsk region, in favor of the OCU. This was reported by the press service of the Volyn diocese of the UOC.

The rector of the parish, priest Dmitry Golovachev, told law enforcement officers that a group of people, including Inna and Vladimir Prots, Maria Semenyuk, Viktor Prytolyuk and others, had allegedly committed a criminal offense by forging the decision of the general meeting of the religious community with the aim of raider seizure of the temple and property located in the temple.

The minutes of the general meeting were submitted to the state registrar for re-registration of the religious community.

In the course of the pre-trial investigation, the persons guilty of forging the minutes of the general meeting and the raider seizure of the church will be identified, these persons will incur well-deserved criminal liability, the diocese is sure.
