On May 23, 2022, the head of the OCU, Epiphanius Dumenko, met in his residence with the monks of the Holy Resurrection New Athos Monastery, who transferred to its structure in the Lviv region. This was reported by the press service of the OCU.
The “Metropolitan” spoke with Abbot Job Olshansky, Hieromonk Peter, Hieromonk Sofroniy and novice Tarasy and welcomed them to the OCU.
Hegumen Job spoke about the life of the monastery, the support that the monastery provides to internally displaced persons and the projects that it plans to implement. It was also said that “on Athos, the monks do not hesitate to be healthy patriots of their country.”
