In Shepetivka introduced a “special regime” for the UOC

On May 26, at a session of the Shepetivka City Council, the activities of the Moscow Patriarchate were banned. This was announced by the mayor Vitaly Buzil.

The MP decided to ban the UOC “in order to prevent the split of the community on a religious basis and speculation on the beliefs of its inhabitants.”

“The decision provides for the introduction of a special mode of their work, including a ban on participation in public memorial services for the defenders of Ukraine who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war, and the holding of meetings, rallies, marches and all other public events within the framework of the Shepetivka city territorial community,” he said.
