In the city of Stryi in the Lviv region, during a service, nationalists poured viride nitens over the rector of the Resurrection Church of the UOC, Archpriest Volodymyr Mandzyuk. The daughter of the priest wrote about this on Facebook.
“What is happening in our country. This is my father Father Vladimir, a priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the city of Stryi. Today, during a church service, he was shot in the face with green paint by the so-called nationalists who are seizing our churches. I am writing again, our priests pray for our soldiers, for our country, we pray in the Church Slavonic language, we help in any way we can: with money, humanitarian aid. Remember, God cannot be mocked. Each of us will answer to God for everything,” the priest’s daughter writes.
